This course is 10 days/2 weeks long during summer and 8 days/8 weeks during the school year. It teaches kids about how to confidently present themselves to the world! Unlike conventional speech classes, it also focuses on teaching kids about the real world in a controlled and fun environment while learning about confidence and public speaking! At the end of the course, students will hopefully have a project that they will be able to present. It is also a default course, so a day or two will be spend in the speech competition course as well.
This course is 10 days/2 weeks long during summer and 8 days/8 weeks during the school year. It is a competitive speech course. Students will be given lots of homework to complete over the week but if done well, it will hopefully lead to a finished piece that the student can use to compete in a tournament! It teaches kids about hand gestures, tone, facial expressions, and emotion expression throughout the week! The course will also have one or two days of advocacy content to enrich the students about the world in a controlled but FUN place.
